MSC is a family-oriented fishing club organized to stimulate public awareness of striped bass fishing. We promote sportmanship, conservation and demand adequate water quality. We're based in Columbia, S.C. on beautiful Lake Murray.
Tournaments are held on the third Saturday of each month, with times following safe light conditions. July is usually a night tournament beginning Friday at 6:30 p.m. and ending Saturday at 10:00 a.m. We have a Youth Tournament and a Ladies Tournament annually.
Membership fee is currenty $30 per year for the entire family or $15 after July 1st. If you wish to join, you may download an application form in Adobe Acrobat Reader format here.

INDIVIDUAL ANGLER TOURNAMENT...

MSC’s April tournament was held April 19, 2008 out of Jake’s Landing on Lake Murray.
First place went to Kevin Morse from Prosperity with three striped bass weighing 19.8 lbs. Finishing second was Danny Young from Sumter with 19.2 lbs.
In third place was Dickey Maroney from Leesville, with three fish weighing 17.12 lbs. Dickey also landed the Big Fish of the tournament weighing 11.1 lbs.
The winner of April’s lowest legal creel weight was Joby Wetzel from Columbia with 3.10 lbs.
MSC's next event is the annual Youth Angler Tournament to be held Saturday, May 17 at Jake's Landing. The young anglers will fish from 7:00 a.m. until noon, then have lunch. Lunch will be followed by awards and door prizes.
