  MSC is a family-oriented fishing club organized to stimulate public awareness of striped bass fishing. We promote sportmanship, conservation and demand adequate water quality. We're based in Columbia, S.C. on beautiful Lake Murray. 
   Tournaments are held on the third Saturday of each month, with times following safe light conditions. Membership fee is currenty $30 per year for the entire family or $15 after July 1st. If you wish to join, you may download an application form in Adobe Acrobat Reader format here. (NOTE: MSC does not mail a membership packet. Copies of Bylaws and Tournament Rules are available at our regular club meetings, including the latest club map for Lake Murray. Seventeen teams fished MSC's October tournament held Saturday, October 17 out of Acapulco Landing. Taking both 1st Place and the Nichols Store of Rock Hill Big Fish Award was Team Knot IV Shore with a total of 18.59 lbs. Their winning Big Fish tipped the scales at 13.0 lbs.

Less than a half-pond behind and finishing n 2nd Place with a total of 18.22 lbs. was Team Stoneage. Team Stoneage also had the Lady Angler and Youth Angler for the October event. Team Reel Guys rounded out the top three in 3rd Place with a 14.82 lb. total weight.
