MSC Lady Angler
2008 Tournament . . .
Rianne Thomas, fishing with Billy "Flatbottom" Durant, won MSC annual Lady Angler Tournament for 2008. Rianne took top honors with 2 stripers weighing 10-9.
Meg Sponseller, no stranger to the MSC lady Angler winner's circle,  fished with Dan Derrick to place 2nd with two fish weighing 7-14.  Close behind in 3rd place was Wilma Stamm, who fished withTom Gitto. Wilma's 7-1 striper not only earned her 3rd place honors, it also was the biggest fish caught in the event. The tournament's Smallest Creel prize went to the 2007 Lady Angler Tournament Winner Jennifer "Mrs. Fogman" Lindler for her 3-1 fish.
Eleven Ladies weighed 13 fish on a rough, windy day of fishing. Though it was a tough day, a good time was had by all.
